The villa Trissino Marzotto rises up on an ancient stronghold and it dominates the park and the landscape.
Trissino family wanted the building but only in the 18th century it was transformed in a Venetian villa, thanks to the architect Mattoni.
The villa was abandoned in a state of decay, in 1951 the Count Giannino Marzotto decided to buy it and, after restoration, now the villa back to its former glory.
The villa conserves, inside, many frescoes and tapestries commissioned by Gonzaga. Moreover, the villa is surrounded by historic gardens with ancient trees and a lake.
Today, the villa is open to the public for guided tour, touristic activities and exhibitions. The wonderful garden and the rooms are the perfect place where you can organize any kind f event from ceremonies to weddings.
