Villa Maffei Rizzardi, also known as Cortegrande, is an ancient building dating back to the early 15th century, with its ancient maps depicting the Pigeon tower and an adjacent building. The actual appearance, however, comes from a rebuilding of the 1800’s, when the transformations that still today characterize the beautiful prospects were done, with the long elegant Palladian look. Today Villa Maffei Rizzardi is available for weekly rentals from April to November, especially suitable for anyone wishing to enjoy a quiet holiday in the country, away from traffic and noises.
The property has an area of 800sqm and has 5 bedrooms all on the first floor, very large with air conditioning. On the ground floor there are the lounge, TV room, billiard room, living room, dining room, kitchen and a large kitchen. For guests’ exclusive use there is also a swimming pool, usually open early June and closed at the end of September, depending on weather conditions.
The Villa has no space limitations, and thanks to its Palladian style it is the perfect location for weddings, parties, gala evenings, corporate events, seminars, team building, product presentation.
Even the majestic garden, with English lawns, creates a pleasant and restful space in which guests’ events can be accommodated.
On request it is possible to sleep in the “Juliet Room” or extend the events and receptions by inviting some guests to stay together and maybe enjoy the pool and garden the following day.
