An ancient castle dating back to 1150, it was built on the orders of Papa Eugenio III. Built in a quiet location, it was always a place full of charm and an ideal environment for the cultivation of vines and olive trees. The property was later acquired by the Counts Corinaldi, who on the remains of the monastery built the buildings that we see today, endowed them with imposing wineries and began the production of renowned wines throughout Europe. Today the castle continues its wine production.
Inside the castle you can also stay, and you can taste the atmosphere and experience of living in an ancient medieval court.
It offers 7 apartments, “Il Castello”, “La Corte” and “La Dimora del Re” are only some of these, equipped with all the services to make pleasant the stay of the guest. There is also a room, “La Camera del Granaio”, pleasantly furnished with antique furniture and a double bed. It has a large bathroom with antique bathtub and shower. Air conditioning. Free wi fi.
