Villa Fracanzan Piovene is a splendid Venetian villa of 18th century it is surrounded by Italian garden and a vast park.
In 1316, the Fracanzan family purchased lands and buildings in Orgiano. These formed the original nucleus of the present villa complex.
By the beginning of the eighteenth century, the Fracanzans had established themselves as one of the most eminent families in Vicenza and as a means of consolidating their image, commissioned Francesco Muttoni, an architect from Lugano, to plan a villa and garden.
Today, the villa is open to the guided tour for groups or single. There are the garden and the splendid rooms well-furnished.
On the first floor is the great ballroom, the porcelain room, bedrooms with four-poster beds, the Napoleonic bedroom, the bathrooms and the big old-fashioned linen room.
In the barchessa, there is the museum of “Vita quotidiana e lavoro in villa”. In the old joiner’s workshop we find the ancient tools: planes, saws, gouges, calipers and gimlets.
Outside, there is a rare collection of agricultural motors and tractors. Thanks to his indoor and outdoor spaces is the ideal location for events and weddings.
You can organize business meetings, conventions, seminaries, product presentations, gala dinners, wedding receptions, concert, exhibition and shows.
